Beth Rapatz holds her B.F.A. in Illustration from The Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University. Beth teaches art as well as freelance illustrates using gouache, watercolor and pen & ink as her primary mediums. Freelance projects include creating paintings for a young adult novel; illustrating 4 children’s picture books, illustrating greeting cards; and creating multiple t shirt designs. She participated in the Artist in Residence program for Norwell High School, and has taught writing and illustration to children at 826 Valencia in San Francisco. She also has taught storybook classes at the Bloomington Art Center as well as many painting classes for adults at Simply Jane Studio.

Beth also recently started Artescape Studio, an artists cooperative workspace in Southwest Minneapolis.
